"Tigre, Buenos Aires: thinking about water as a vector of urban transformation"
The Province of Buenos Aires is located in eastern Argentina, more precisely on the southern coast bordering the Río de la Plata estuary. The Parana Delta is unique in that it grows with the addition of sediment, creating new soils and islands. The Parana Delta lies in the Río de la Plata between the Argentine plains on one side and the Uruguayan and Argentine hills on the other. In the particular geographical situation of Greater Buenos Aires, the aim is to link urbanity to the landscape features of the territory, and vice versa. How can we create a living urban landscape that accepts water as a vector for urban transformation rather than as a hazard?
