"Between sea and lagoon, from the continent to the islands"
The city is sinking. The rise in sea level, intense navigation, and the development of the port are largely responsible for the subsidence of the lagoon, which is estimated to have sunk 23 centimeters between 1900 and 1970. The MOÏSE project is now proposing a technological approach to the problem, believing that it alone can stem the problems of the lagoon. If the project does not make such a claim here, it intends to seize the future appeal of such a system to integrate it into a territorial approach as a potential for urbanity.
