"Water in Mexico City"

Mexico City developed on a former island, now absorbed in the center of the megalopolis. The historic center is thus organized around buried canals, deteriorated buildings and new pedestrian streets. The transformation takes advantage of these characteristics to make the city more porous and limit the risk of flooding. At the entrance to the historic center, between two major axes, an abandoned building and an unbuilt space become the place of a meeting between the inhabitants and the rainwater.
