"Ile de Ré: a tourist island threatened with disappearance"

L’ile de Ré is an area preserved by controlled urbanization, with a diverse landscape and major infrastructures linking it to the mainland. Its island location exposes it to the risk of marine submersion, with varying degrees of erosion. The architectural transformation proposes a new vision of insularity based on the relationship between Man and Nature. The project develops four explorations, on four sites: a campsite, second homes, a museum and a fort as many attitudes to flooding.
