"The polders of the southern Finistère coast and the risk of marine submersion"
The polder of South Finistère is a vast and diversified natural territory subject by its proximity to the ocean to the risk of marine submersion. This risk is multiple since it depends on different factors: the retreat of the dune, storms, erosion of the dune and rising water levels due to global warming. The submersions are diverse: by overflow, by crossing and by breach. The project proposes a return to the regulatory system of salt meadows and a new type of habitat on the edge of a new coastline as a relocation of populations. The transformation provides for a seasonal approach adapted to submersion and nature.
