"Lisbon a new water cycle to be reinvented"
Lisbon was built on a marked topography favorable to flooding and submersion by submersion. The urban transformation plans to create receptacles to collect the diversity of the city’s water: channeled, redirected, treated, absorbed and stored and thus reduce the risk of saturation and flooding in the city. The project explores a new relationship on the Tagus between city and garden to manage rainwater and marine submersion water, as a more natural logic of water flow. These flows converge towards an architecture which advocates a return to the natural ground.
