"Refresh without drafts"

The city of Montreal is crossed at its center by Canada’s main highway: the Trans-Canada Highway. This route induces a cohabitation today very complicated between inhabitants (among the poorest of the island) and an overwhelming, noisy and polluting concrete infrastructure leading to all the imaginable disorders. The artificialized soils (of the highway but also of the industrial entities which are grafted to it) create an immense heat island 40 kilometers long and an average of 500 meters wide. This project proposes to approach infrastructure as a potential. What future for the inhabitants who are victims of this situation? What place for an excluded nature? What solution, despite everything, to maintain economic viability in the heart of the island?
