Les risques d\u2019effondrement li\u00e9s aux s\u00e9ismes d\u00e9pendent surtout de la qualit\u00e9 des constructions. Les risques sont plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s dans les quartiers o\u00f9 les b\u00e2timents sont plus anciens, construits en briques crues, ou avec du ciment pauvre. Le site de projet se situe au sud de T\u00e9h\u00e9ran, dans le 17\u00e8me arrondissement, o\u00f9 les cons\u00e9quences d\u2019un s\u00e9isme seraient lourdes du fait de quartiers tr\u00e8s denses et d\u00e9grad\u00e9s. L\u2019\u00e9troitesse des voiries augmente la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 des tissus urbains au risque sismique. If the city were to be hit by a major earthquake, the consequences would be dramatic. The risk of earthquake-related collapse depends above all on the quality of construction. Risks are higher in neighborhoods where buildings are older, made of mud bricks or poor cement. The project site is located in the south of Tehran, in the 17th district, where the consequences of an earthquake would be severe due to the very dense and run-down neighborhoods. Narrow roads increase the vulnerability of urban fabrics to seismic risk. The project takes a two-step approach to the catastrophe: what happens during &#8211; and where does it go from
